Cabinet Painting and Refinishing FAQ

Can you paint glossy or factory-finished cabinets?

Usually, yes. We degrease, scuff-sand and use a bonding primer so the new paint grips the old finish.

Should I empty my cabinets?

Yes, empty the cabinets and counters we'll be working on before we start.

When can I use my kitchen normally?

Cabinets can be used once they're dry, but the paint keeps hardening for a few weeks. Close doors gently and avoid scrubbing during that time.
